Does AdSense really work?

AdSense is, for the most part, a great idea- blog, set up an adsense easily, and get paid. The third step, however, is somewhat of a problem- not because it takes more than a few minutes to do, but because, in reality, nobody clicks on google ads.

Let's face it. 99 percent of the time, the advertisements google "intelligently" selects have absolutely nothing to do at all when viewing the post. My favorites are the Ebay links that advertise an intangible thing or idea- "Great deals on post!," though plenty others come close.

I've given up on getting paid. Heck, if I earn two cents from blogging a year, I'll be thrilled. The truth is that any substantial income won't happen, and sure as heck not as long as these hairbrained ads keep coming up. Then again, that's not what I'm here for. I enjoy blogging when I'm not writing in some other way, and the nice thing about soulcast is that it's still rather small- not meant in a bad way, but instead that you can interact with people. (It's also quite fun to try to make "bunnies" the most popular tag, but there you go.) I was just wondering if there were any users that found themselves clicking on ads listed on the site. If so, please comment! Thanks. :-)

Crazy Frog Must DIE!!!

I think the blog title speaks for itself - Before the Crazy Frog was a laugh... twice... then after the chavs decided to make it there adoptive son its in more places than some peoples gods are!
I was close to tears when he brough out his 1st song as I could not describe my hatred for it. Everytime I heard it I had to break something out of pure anger!

AND NOW! HE GOES AND BLOODY COVERS POPCORN!...

FFS!!!!!!!!!!!
What I really wanna see is the frog vs the Llama (The Llama Song - I refuse to link it as I know you must of seen it - If not then LOSER! Check out video google) also it was made by someone I know and I dont want him nicking my traffic.

I am tempted to create a thread about the many ways I would kill the crazy frog.
But just to enforce my views why he must die.

1. That ring-ding-mehitssof**kingsh*t-dong-dang
2. He has his penis out and when im eating my lunch I dont wanna see that kinda stuff
3. Chavs play it all the freaking time!
4. Its a frog - why not a turnip? There fun!
5. Its creator is making millions and yet his only idea is still a freaking frog covering songs!!!!

I'll let you think of some more...

I'm going to bed to dream about cutting down a tree to fashion it into a canoe to sail through the Thames and go on a pirate booty treasure hunt. Arrr!

I am not a political person - I know not much about politics. All I know that he has buggered off after having his fun with this country.
He's been in office for a helluva long time and he has really raped this county - now they want to employ another middle class Scot (no offense - im part Scottish myself) to have his way with the UK after Blair has gone.

Now - If I in this position of asking who to vote in definatly I think the 1st person I would look at is the candidate with plans for sorting out the people! And saying that I mean immigration too! Next would be the countrys health and pollution, next would be sorting out the crack down on religious extremiests - maybe getting papers to complain about them so then the public will dob them into the police for a bit of locking up fun for them.

This country is in a mess and it can go either 2 ways - Worse or Hell... cos no one has the power to heal whats been given to it in the past... If they can - then instead of calling them the PM - call them Superman!

I'M NOT EMO!

Why is it whenever I mention I have a blog people automatically call me emo? Nowadays if you have a blog or myspace.com or anything like that your labled an emo. It really grinds my gears when a humble blogger like myself gets associated with the emo crowd. For gods sake I listen to metal! I have long hair, a beard and my Iron Maiden t-shirt is too big for me!

I'm not saying that emos dont have blogs but when I get called one I get mega annoyed as I hate emo music - all the moaning about girlfriend dumping them so they write a song about it or how there jeans arn't tight enough... JEBUS!!!!!!!!!

I remember days when I could say 'Hey guys, I have a webpage' and the replies would be 'Wow dude you rule!' Now as the emo scene hits new heights anything that you type and update regulary gets you called a freaking emo!Blogs are here for everyone - NOT JUST THEM EMO CROWDS. Please understand that others like to type too!

Myspace is even worse... but that my friends is another story.
